JSC "Vilpros pramonė" is a member of Vilpra group. At the moment Vilpra group, consist of JSC "Vilpra", JSC "Vilpros investicija" and JSC "Vilpros pramonė". The main JSC "Vilpros pramonė" activity is production of stainless steel chimneys. Previously, chimneys production was carried out by the name of JSC "Vilpra" company, since 2007, IV-th quarter, activities have been transferred to the company UAB "Vilpros pramonė". The department of chimney production was detached from JSC "Vilpra" whose main activity was trading, and a separate chimney and metal structures production company JSC "Vilpros pramonė" was formed; new company overtook all functions and facilities of the previous one. Now it is the biggest chimney factory in the Baltic States, and it has one of leading-edge technologies for chimney manufacturing in the Europe. The company employs over 50 employees.
JSC "Vilpros pramonė" is only one company in the Baltic States producing metal chimneys in conformity to the requirements of standards EN 1856-1:2003 and EN 1856-2:2004, in Lithuanian and foreign laboratories carried out obligatory primary type testing of chimneys they manufacture. On the bases of these tests a notified body "Statybos produkcijos sertifikavimo centras" ("Construction Production Certification Centre") (SPSC) issued enterprise with the "Certificate of Factory Production Control", which gives the right to issue declarations of conformity to manufactured chimneys and to mark them with the "CE". This enables us to export our manufactured chimneys to any EU member state. Company works under the requirements of the quality management system ISO 9001:2000.
